Job Description: Part-Time Cleaner for Airbnb Properties (Shimoda, Shizuoka)

Position:  Cleaner for Shimoda Vacation Homes
Location: Shimoda, Shizuoka (6 properties)
Salary/Benefits: 1,500yen -2500 yen depending on experience. Accommodation also available

Description of Hours/Work:

You will be part of a cleaning team to allow flexibility on work scheduling.

Jan - May 10 to 12 cleans per month
June, July, sept October 16-20 cleans
July August 25-30 cleans 

One House clean is approximately 4 hours; 2 hours to set the house up and 2 hours for laundry.
Cleaning can be scheduled anytime after a guest check out. Where there is a same day check in/out cleaning is done between 11am and 3pm.

On top of Cleans for guest check ins, there is also the opportunity for deep cleans, garden work if the candidate is interested. 

Job Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning of Airbnb properties between guest check-outs, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.

Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities 

Dust, vacuum, mop floors, sanitize bathrooms & kitchens, and remove trash.

Report maintenance issues or damages to the property manager.

Restock supplies (cleaning products, toilet paper, etc.) as needed.

Follow checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Wash dry and fold Linens and towels 

.

Requirements:

· Attention to detail and ability to work independently..

Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.

Positive mindset and keen to work as part of a team. 

Communication skills in Japanese or English or both. 

Drivers license

業務内容・勤務時間:

清掃チームの一員として、柔軟に勤務時間を調整可能

1月～5月: 月10～12回の清掃

6月・7月・9月・10月: 月16～20回の清掃

7月・8月（繁忙期）: 月25～30回の清掃

1回の清掃時間の目安:

約4時間（内訳:      2時間＝室内清掃     / 2時間＝洗濯・リネン交換）

チェックアウト後随時清掃。同日チェックイン時は10:00～15:00に実施

その他の業務機会:

ゲスト用清掃に加え、ディープクリーニングや庭作業（希望者のみ）

業務内容:

チェックアウト後の別荘1棟貸し物件の清掃

ベッドリネン・タオルの交換、アメニティ補充

掃除機・モップがけ、浴室・トイレ・キッチンの清掃、ゴミの処理

不具合や損傷を管理担当へ報告

消耗品（洗剤・トイレットペーパー等）の補充

チェックリストに沿った効率的な作業

リネン・タオルの洗濯・乾燥・折りたたみ

近隣住民への配慮とプロフェッショナルな対応

求めるスキル:

細部への注意力と自立した作業能力

時間厳守・責任感・自己管理能力

前向きな姿勢とチームワーク精神

日本語または英語（どちらか一方でも可）でのコミュニケーション力

必須: 普通自動車運転免許
