Shimoda Vacation homes was established by William Ramsay a long term resident of Japan and is centered around his passions—property, Japan, and people—forming the foundation of guest and property owner relationships and experiences

Shimoda was the birth of our ‘Beach-Pop’ style project, where we transformed beachside properties by blending minimalism, pop art, and vibrant beach house colors to create a unique guest experience. 

We successfully marketed these properties as standout vacation rentals beside Kisami Ohama and Sotoura Beaches.  Building on this, we launched a property management business, specializing in high-end vacation rentals and optimizing guest experiences for both new and existing properties. Our success in Shimoda led to our expansion of management of luxury chalets into Niseko, Hokkaido
